Sunday Preseason Jamboree.. 2 games ..2 victories

We played 2 back to back games today and it was a scorcher....we played Tomahawk Team 5 and won 8 -0 and then we played Tomahawk Team 21 and won 14- 0...both teams were 6th grade teams as we are and Alex happens to know guys on both teams....so at least in school he still owns the bragging rights. As a side bar our arch rival Team 2 was in attendance trying to scout our plays....
"don't worry Team 2 we'll see u in the playoffs that is if u make it that far"
As luck would have it Team 2 played the next game after we finished...They played Team 5, the Team we played earlier and spanked 8-0, ....well the Team 2 Team 5 game ended in a tie.....so what's that tell you. huh? You do the math
Team 2 ties Team 5, Team 5 loses to Team 4, By process of logic Team 4 also would spank Team 2.......WE ARE TEAM 4! Enough of this built up aggression back to today's games....
I got so wrapped up in watching that I only snapped a few pics
1st pic is Alex prior to game 1 bent over on the sideline as if his tummy is hurting he probably ate too late or something.....sooner or later he will learn!
2nd pic is victory walk after game 2

3rd pic ...Lil bruh Payton and Kyles lil bruh Jake are sitting in the shade ...At least Jake is pretending to be interested in the game.."come on Payton get with the program"

Game notes: Alex played a lot of this game on offense and defense. He did pretty well on both, assisted in a few tackles and had a nice run where he instinctively switched the ball from hand to hand while running....funny thing however after the game I commented to him about his switching the ball and he had no clue of what he did........amazing as it may sound that's a major break thru .....really it is...
Congrats to all even grandma Terri for showing up on her birthday in the tremendous burning down heat.
to date:4 preseaon games 4 preseason wins...
the saga continues......................holla
