Saturday just like old times

It was like 2 years ago when we spent every Saturday together from dust to dawn.
Mom dropped Alex off at 9AM she was heading to Lake Cumberland for some brief relaxation . Payton was sleeping over with other friends.

He started the day with character building chores pulling weeds and cutting bushes in the backyard ..................

Afterwards we cruised by Waffle House for a breakfast of Champions...greasy Champions that is..
Next stop Walmart...surprised Alex "Call of Duty Modern Warfare" (popular game for WII)
From here we headed back home, where he was glued to the game 3 straight hrs

Afterwards we attended Crossroads where Alex met all the church volunteers and actually assisted me in serving, holding doors, handing out bulletins and greeting everyone attending...
Grampa was proud once again.

On the way home we caught a movie ........just because!

The day ended with one tired Tomahawk and a very content
"FAT BLACK PUG..."

Gabbi .. finally has her bud back!

holla
