Game 2 Basketball Victory 16-12

We won our game ...close ugly victory but still a "W"
Alex played well boxed out and hustled. Our team is still learning the basic fundamentals of the game.....We have a long way to go...but we are on the right track

Its a difficult thing to watch ..............trust me.

cya soon.

Alex scores winning goal

This occurred a few weeks ago and I forgot to blog about it...Alex reminded me
"grandpa did u put my goal on the blog?"
"ooooooops!"

here we go
It was a tie score at his Lacrosse inner squad scrimmage and the time had run out.
Lacrosse rules state in the event of a tie the 2 goalies must "face off" at center field and challenge ea other to score. Its get pretty dramatic "BIG DEAL"
Since Alex had been playing goalie he faced off against Justin Holland ( also his Team 4 football team mate and the guy ho initially got Alex involved in Lacrosse)

They meet at center field...Alex is smaller than Justin and less experienced
but Alex is much quicker
He quickly snatches the hockey ball in his net and darts left then right ...Justin swings his stick at Alex but he's much too quick which allows Alex to run past him heading towards to goal once Alex is in front Justin does not stand a chance..all Alex has to do is shoot the ball in the unguarded open net and win the game

He does exactly that....his teammates storm the field and tackle him with praise.

There I told the storyAlex..... sorry no pics.

Oh one more thing
Alex's older 1/2 brother Christopher was there and sheepishly smiled with pride
mainly because on the way to the scrimmage Alex promised Christoper and I that he would score...He did!

I think I'm creating a little athletic monster....and it sure feels good

1st basketball game

Our first Tbird bball game....It was a great game 36-32 overtime...we lost

Alex played a decent portion of time ....and did a prettygood job hustling and playing defense....Next game Jan 2nd.

It was a great time at this first game because Alex was able to see his Tomahawks teamates...lots of the guys play on a variety of our rival basketball teams...as amatter of fact the team that be us had one of Alex football players on it...Zack Zeidel...he was our best hitter...and a close friend of Alex's.

After the game I had to scoot and Alex stayed with his mom and watched other games.

It was a tuff start but we will win more games than we lose...We have a pretty good team...really we do.

Tbirds basketball has started

Alex had his 1st basketball scrimmage tonight....They won 22-14

Alex played about 1/2 of the game as a 2 guard....He did pretty good...no points...but pretty good defense....he needs basketball shoes because his gym shoes are worn and slick on the bottom no traction...On the way home our discussions begin
"Grandpa are u gonna yell at me this whole season like in football?'
"Nope. Only when you don't hustle"
" Well the coach said we can take any kind of shot we want"
" I doubt that Alex and if he did say that he is wrong"
" He said it...I promise"
" OK ...if u wanna look like an idiot out there take any shot you want"
Silence all the way home.......then I blurted out" "wanna get some new basketball shoes tomorrow for scrimmage #2?"
"sure he replied....but can we stop at McDonald's now?"
"sure I replied"

(another memory for the books)

Scrimmage #2 tomorrow nite...this time with new basketball shoes

Rocky Mountain Tourney game 3 &4

Since we were Victorious in game 1 & 2 we continued on in the Tourny. We played Sunday morning and won again against a Lexington Team 18-0 ..it was a rainy muddy mess. Our quest continues.

After the muddy victory we had to strip our clothes in our vehicles and give them to a few volunteer moms who took them to a local Laundry to wash and dry .we only had 3 hrs to our final championship game. while the moms were cleaning them. Alex, Terri, kK and I went to a Local restaurant and ate and warmed up. remember we only had a few hrs until we played so after eating I found another local laundry and dried mine own personal hoody. Alex hung with me...Terri and KK went looking for a local Walmart, why I dont know ...bored I guess.
When they returned we all got back to the field and suited up for the final chapter of our quest.

We were pitted against a local Tenn Team called MIDWAY...They were BIG, FAST , ORGANIZED and WELL COACHED. Opening kickoff they scored and we never recovered. final score Midway 18 - Tomahawks 0

Our boys were upset and hurt but we really met our match..they were an identical team to us only alot BIGGER...A LOT BIGGER

Our coaches gave a nice heart felt pep talk we all received runner up badges and the team got a huge runner up trophy...
Alex was really sad at first but by the time we were 1/2 way home he was talking and back to his usual non stop self.

A hidden treat in all of this is Alex spoke with his dad Jason( in California) while we were eating and that was good.

We arrived home near midnight and what do I do

"Start typing on this darn addictive blog!

Pics to follow I promise...

But for now Football is over and Lacrosse and basketball takes center court

Oh yea we sign up next week for 6th grade football one more year as a Tomahawk

Stay tuned again...we are own a roll!

Oh yea the coaches of the team we beat said...we are the most discipline and fastest team they have met....we should go far!

Knoxville Tournament Game 1 against NW Bantons

Our first game against a team from Indy...Northwest Bantons...they were bigger than us...as everyone is usually...From the first kick off I knew THEY not WE were in trouble. They were slow and not organized...we killed them 20 - 0.
Alex had a nice hit assisted by Adam Hedges( another player)on their QB.. They hit him so hard that he had to leave the game fora few plays.
Alex also almost scored a TD he was stopped on the 3 yd line plus their was a penalty on the play.
As an after game treat Alex chose to eat at a Chinese buffet...It was OK.... we then returned to the hotel to rest and prepare for game two at 7PM

fun....fun...fun.....in Knoxville

Side note( I can tell Terri and KK aren't used to being around all of these boys all the time)

The boys are running through the halls and pushing elevator buttons constantly...

Alex also got to talk with Jason and brag about this 1st victory

Game 2 7PM stay tuned

Weds Nite ..final practice...sad

Tonight was Alex's last 5th grade practice ...We practiced at the high school turf field under the lights....its kinda sad...........................On the drive to practice this was our conversation

Me"Well Alex this is your last practice as a 5th grader"
Alex: Yup I know after 1 more year I will be playing 7th grade football, hey grandpa will u be driving me to 7th grade football too?"
Me: No Alex once you get to 7th grade you practice right after school you don't even go home first...but don't worry I will be at the practice watching even if Im old and in a wheelchair"
Alex: "Grandpa you will never be in a wheel chair..you're too fit"
Me" I simply smiled and old grandpa smile",,,smart kid!

Monday nites LAX- BBALL

Well it starts

LaCrosse 6PM-8PM
Basketball 8PM-9:30PM

It was a fun packed nite of Alex and practices...We rushed to get to Lax practice and then left there and my GPS got us all turned around rushing to bball Practice...but we made it 18 minutes late ( well be better next Monday)
At Lax Alex scored 2 goals from the attack position
At bball Alex was able to bond with 3 of his football teammates Jesse, Colton and Rhys

He played point guard some...dribbled the ball too high and
made some absolutely horrible practices...so Im at it again on the drive home Im schooling him about basketball....that's right I was not only a football star I was a basketball star also...In my Hay day of course

Tomahawks 24 middletown 0

We WON the Hamilton Invitational tournament...

How sweet it is...The boys all played excellent. Relatively uneventful game...I worked the sideline chains so I got to hang out close to Alex during the game. He got to play running back again with the first string team. no carries ..no yards.

Well the end is here....we have one last Tournament this coming weekend in Knoxville...We also have our end of year banquet this Thursday.

Its kind of sad ya know...this team only has 1 more year together then all the boys move on to their respective Jr high schools...

There goes my social calendar..what to do now?

Duh!! Alex has Lacrosse

Sat Nov 14 2009 Hamilton Invitational Game 1

We slammed them 24 -0. It was New Miami.Alex played with the 1st string offense and almost scored a TD. He had a running play and was tackled a few yards from the goal line.
That's all the highlights except for Payton was there watching and seemed proud to have a Big Brother playing ....Tomahawks
Hes expecting grandpa to sign him up in a few years and take him to practices.... he's Payton, he's 5yrs old...he's dreaming or on some kind of delusional drug if he thinks I'm doing this same scenario again with him for 4 yrs.

Well maybe I will do it for 3 but definitely not 4

Tomahawk Night at UC Bearcat game

Tonight was fun. Alex and I along with his teammates and parents all attended a UC Bearcat football game tonight. All of the Tomahawk players were allowed to be on the field and form a tunnel to allow the undefeated UC Bearcats to run through.

I thought we were gonna miss the on the field tunnel because traffic and parking was a nightmare in Clifton. We had to park several blocks away and jog to the game...we arrived just in time. I was tired Alex was barely puffing at all. It was a great game , we stood the entire game, Alex had popcorn, nachos, hot dogs and cotton candy..We left with 5 minutes to go in the game in order to beat the crowd....plus I could tell he was wearing down.

Oh by the way Alex is great with directions he found our way back to the car in no time. By the time we were on the road 5 minutes Alex was fast asleep. Good thing we have a tournament game in Hamilton tomorrow at 12 noon...Ill be picking him up at 10AM

Oh yea UC is still undefeated

A Wonderful Day

In my haste I forgot to mention earlier this week ...I became another grandpa...YUP #3 my oldest son Jaman has graced me with a beautiful grand daughter( boy is he in for some drama)

her name says it all Jayda Lynn "Danger" Burton.

7lbs 13 oz a star is born

But Im tellin you freakin blogger heads Im not gonna be writin all about her ...for one she's in St Louis ...for two she doesn't play any sports...she cant even hold a football or catch a Lacrosse ball in the net.

So until she steps up to the plate she must remain Alex and Paytons cute little cousin...hey I got it maybe she can be a cheerleader like her grandma Deldra...that would be sweet

"GO JAYDA GO JAYDA RAH RAH RAH TEAM BURTON ROCKS!

I have a blessed life Im a lucky grandpa.

Halloween Oct 31 2009

Great fun tonight...Alex and I went over to one of the football parents house along with ,most of the other players and the players all walked the neighborhood together along with us dads and grandpas...afterwards we all sat around a firepit and drank spiked apple cider while the boys ran around playing hide n seek.

Alex got a ton of candy he had a good time...Payton was not with us he decided to stay home with his mom and walk his neighborhood just as well I would rather not have to keep an eye on him while downing warm spiked apple cider.

when we left we stopped by Terri and KKs because KK wanted some of his candy
We did not stay long he has an invitational game tomorrow against Bellbrook a team from Dayton, oh that we know nothing about...It will be a fun game ..

no doubt we will CRUSH them

Sat lower bracket Championship game against Milford 11

We completely demolished Milford in this playoff championship game for the lower bracket

We scored 6 touchdowns to their 2

Alex got to play with the first string offense which made his day.

It was a freezing cold day and the wind was brutal on us old people...but we were steadfast for the victory...This was the last true official game for our season...how sweet it was.
Our record was 10 wins 1 lost the exact same record as last year but only better this year because we beat all of 0ur opponents by 18 points or more. This aloud us to be able to play all the boys almost every game.

We have an invitational game next week to end the season its against a team from Dayton it will be televised on a West Chester local access channel and it will be played under the lights at night.

This is Big time like playing on ESPN

The boys are very excited about the year they had ......and Im am truely truely proud of Alex.

After todays victory we celebrated at a local wings place and on the way taking Alex home he says"grandpa it seems like football just started" I replied" yup before you know it you'll be complaining again about having to practice in the 90 degree summers' Time sure passes fast grandpa" Sure does Alex wait till u get my age "

One final shining point

Alex talked to his dad Jason on the way home from the game ...telling him all the details and everything.....His little voice was so excited and proud

These are priceless times

Thanks for listening Blog freaks

Monday......practice

Well Alex didn't stay down long he started Lacrosse practice Monday...WOW football isn't even over and basketball will be starting soon also.....

Alex loves LaCrosse this is his 2nd year...We got to practice and there were 4 of hid football teammates there also...these boys eat sleep and drink sports...I LOVE IT!!

Alex played goalie and he did great

Oh yea we practiced inside it was cold outside the actual season wont start till March or so ....

But thats OK the more practice he does the better he will get.

As for football we have a final lower bracket playoff game this Sat against Milford...we beat them b4 but it was a tuff game...We are only practicing once this week..Alex will be riding to practice with another teammate because Im out of town all week...

Dont worry I will check in with him daily...

Saturday, October 17, 2009

Final score 8-0

Tuff game

lots of hard hitting..

lots of cheering

lots of tears...we lost

Details
they scored on a long run a broken play in the first qtr
we missed 3 touchdown opportunities long passes that were dropped.
Our offensive line did not sustain their blocks and their defense shut down our star running back

We fought hard and long to the last min of the game. Then they simply ran the clock out.

The were parents and boys crying all over the place...even Alex was crying even though he did not get a chance to play.
Afterwards we all went to a neighborhood restaurant and ate and celebrated a hard fought game.
the boys moods were much better at the end of the nite...and so was mine after a few beers

The season is not quite over yet we still have a lower bracket game next week and an invitational game the following week...then one last HOORAH GAME in Knoxville Tn...its a country wide tourny that we were invited to. It will be fun!

Terri, KK, Stephanie , and Payton were in attendence

No pics this time just imagine lots of teary eyed boys with their heads down

Friday Practice last practice before the big rivalry Team 2 game

We were inside again which is great since its friggin freezin outside....The boys did great and after this final practice we all went over to coach Chads house to watch prior game films ( For the ladies out there its what some teams do to prepare for upcoming important games)
Since this big rivalry game is so important we decided pull out all the stops...I guess...Alex and I had to leave the game film nite early because I had to get him home...he was going out to eat with friends, going to Longhorn Steak House...lucky dog...I took him home and went home and ate TV dinners....

Tuesdays Practice Oct 13 surprise scrimmage

3 more practices and the game of the year...and its not even the Championship Its TEAM 2

Well the coaches surprised the boys today with an unplanned scrimmage against a tomahawk 6th grade team ,,,,ut oh....We are only 5th graders...We were all surprised and a tad nervous..As the 6th graders came walking over We heard them snickering and saying "their so little" referring to us of course....that pissed me off a bit but hey I'm just a grandpa on the side.
I think our coaches did this to challenge our guys a bit and hopefully build their confidence showing them that we can play against older boys and compete therefore we should be able to KILL TEAM 2 ...
It was a no lose situation for us...if we do poorly then we can say its because we are younger and smaller but if we do good we can say we are really really good even against bigger older boys.
It did wonders....The 6th grade team did not have any idea what hit them...we hit them so hard and so much we even hurt there big bad quarterback ...we scored a few times they did not. score once and after it was over the 6th grade coaches were so upset that they made them do pushups for ever ....because they just got spanked by the little 5th graders......

Not exactly true ...they just met TOMAHAWKS TEAM 4

recognize

it felt so so nice...Great job team 4 coaches

afterwards Alex was on Cloud 9 and so was I

next big event is our Team 4 spaghetti dinner Weds nite at Willys...should be fun

Monday Oct 12 practice...3 more practices till Team 2

This week is the most important week of our season...no its not the championship game ...its the week of practice prior to us playing our #1 arch rival TEAM 2....there are only two 5th grade Tomahawk teams left in the Playoffs...Team 2 (the defending champs) and us Team 4. Team 21 was eliminated and Team 5 was also eliminated.

We could not have written a better script......and this week we will need to get our heads right because our conditioning is right on POINT...we are ready talent wise and heart wise we just have to believe we are the better team.

enough said....

stayed tuned we have 3 more days of practice and then show time.

First Playoff game against Milford 11

We ran into an tough Milford 11 team for this Playoff game. It also did not help that we were not able to really practice all week due to rain, extremely muddy fields, and an amazing number of sick boys ...even Alex had a slight sore throat and he never gets sick......another bad omen as we were arriving to this game another Tomahawk team was leaving in defeat Team 5 had just lost to Milford 12.... 6-0 ......Alex new a lot of the team 5 players and they were very bummed and sad..

I know if it seems like I'm stalling to give you guys the details...you are correct I am stalling..as I said we ran into a tough Milford 11 team that had no intentions of laying down and allowing us to work our Team 4 power over them...Oh did I also mention our #1 linebacker was out sick and another one of our great defensive starters was away playing hockey
Our game started late because all the games were running late that day...so we had to end up playing under the lights.

OK OK...relax we scored first, but missed the extra points...very eerie we never miss extra points...then Milford scored but they made their extra points.....then we scored again...missed extra points again...ouch...Then Milford ran a long play almost scored again....what just happened...oh I forgot we were missing our star linebacker. Our backs were against the wall for the first time this entire year....Milford fans were cheering like crazy...and we were silent...

Then I started a chant D....FENSE.......D...FENSE.....D...FENCE and before you knew it we were all yelling it so our sons and grandsons could hear....D FENCE D FENCE.

Our boys stepped up to the plate a stopped Milfords drive.
1/2 time score Tomahawks 12 - Milford 7

I was noticeably nervous...could not stand still and I was not alone.

Milford was cocky.

I pulled one of our parents aside and said "don't sweat it we got this game" she said "I hope you are right"

I was I'm grandpa Jay...Final score

29 - 14

"We just revenged the lost of our brother team 5 take that Milford...and don't forget

"This is OUR HOUSE"

Alex and all the players even got to play in the last qtr...our whole team rejoiced afterwards at BW 3s

We 're still alive.... Playoff game #1 is over now next week we are gonna play our nemesis Team 2
(if they advance which they should)
Team 2 beat us last year in the Super Bowl our only lost in 2 straight years....and boy do we have a grudge.....stay tuned people its gonna get ugly

NO TIME FOR PICS SO DEAL WITH IT!

Divison Champions pics

Divison Champions 2nd year in a row

We did it We did it again...undefeated season. We beat Anderson 41 -20. It was Alex's best game of his youth football career...He scored the extra points by running an off tackle play plus ....on defense he intercepted a long pass stopping Andersons last drive down the field.

He did all this while having a bad sore throat( I found this out when I picked him up on the way to the big game....i gave him a halls cough drop and told him "once the game starts you wont even notice the sore throat")

He also had a great family turn out...Terri, kK, Stephanie, Grandma Doris, payton and his other aunt from North Carolina....and Grandpa Jay off course!

After the victory the team all met at "The Back Porch Saloon" for fun . food, and frolic...It was a really nice way to end his 2nd full season of football

I forgot to mention that a few games back Alex told me that he would score before the season was over....I really never thought it would happen Just goes to show you contrary to what I always say" Grandpa's Don't know everything"

Now the playoffs start ....let the fun begin... I will keep you posted

Pics to follow...I hope

Mud Bowl Tomahawks 20 Loveland 0

Loveland was undefeated.....so were we...........We still are.

It was a muddy mess so I coined it the mud bowl. Alex and red 2nd string played the entire 2nd half of the game. He went into the game as clean as a new born baby...but that didn't last long..as u can see in the pics...He got to run the ball on a number of plays and did quite well being on a muddy field. He also played defensive cornerback and was able to assist in a few tackles.

As an added treat Grandma Terri, grandma Deldra, Grandpa Keith, KK and his mom were in attendance to watch him play...they were very proud as was I. They sat and cheered quietly...unlike me running up and down the field taking pics and yelling instructions to my little baller out their ...I just can not sit still and watch him play its simply not possible.

Well we now have 1 more league game and then its on to the playoffs.

As much as Alex always said he wanted top play in mud ...It just didn't appear that he was enjoying it ..every other minute he was shaking mud off his hands and wiping them on the back of his teammates...

As always I must say I'm extremely proud of how he is doing...

As u can see we got his hair cut he looks normal again.

Tomahawk spaghetti dinner nite at Lakota East

Friday 4:30 PM Alex and I are on our way to Lakota East high for a spaghetti dinner and watch the high school game.
I was starving had not eaten all day and Alex was just home from school and also pretty hungry.
It had the making of a long long friday nite mainly because it had rained all day ...very gloomy.
I was bundled up like an old eskimo and when I picked up Alex he was wearing a football jersey and shorts...I said no way go change...he said "I ll be OK really"
When we arrived the Lakota East dinner all of the adults were bundled...but all of the kids were in shorts...so I just let it be. After the dinner we trucked over to the field to meet all the other players and the other Tomahawk teams...it was an amazing turn out of kids...The boys got in the game for free and also got to be on the field as the high school team ran out. We did the same thing last year so I knew the drill.
First let me say Alex and his friends did not watch any of the game they spent the entire first half running around flirting with girls...so at half time I said "lets go time to head out"
The game was awful anyway ...We left and headed to Chipoltle to eat AGAIN thats right remember we had already eaten spaghetti...next I took him home and headed home myself I reminded Alex that I would be getting him Sat at 7;45AM for practice yep Sat practice because we have another important league game Sunday...against Loveland .....does it never end!

I keep a positive attitude by telling myself "Im building memories"

Red Team passes the test Tomahawks 29 Little Miami 7

Well our Red team which is our 2nd string players got to start and play the majority of the game today Alex was pumped, excited and a tad nervous I suspect.
He did fine in the game ran the ball well probably ran for 20+ yds or more ,got hurt on one play and had to be helped off the field while crying ..he sat on the bench and after a few minutes he was up and back in the game .."Good job grandson"
Our Red team played a good tough game but we did not score so our coach put in our Black team the 1st string team and we scored on the very first play. From that point on our teams swapped back and forth beating up on Little Miami which actually wasn't a bad team...they were just clearly out matched...we are that good ...really we are and Im not just a proud grandpa saying that.
I had my camera for pics but got so excited that I forgot to take it out of my pocket
We have on;y 2 more regular season game against Loveland and Anderson
I will take pics

No practice Reds Game

No practice tonite....Alexand I went to Reds game with another football dad and his son...David Walcott and david Jr...We had great seats...Alex took his glove expecting to catch a foul ball...no luck....We ate peanuts .hot dogs, burgers, jambalaya...that's right some very spicy jambalaya, ice cream and drinks....all for FREE!!! David Walcot has a special in through his job...its the only way to watch baseball.

It was a pretty decent game . lots of home runs..we left in the 7th inning..Alex would have stayed all night,,but he had math homework that he conveniently forgot to mention he had earlier. It was big fun and a good bonding time for Alex and David Jr by the way he is new to our team this year...hes gonna be very good player hes BIG BOY.... twice the size of Alex ...but not as fast...at least not yet. All the way home in the car David Jr rapped along with an Old School CD..
He did this in response to me showing him earlier that I could Moonwalk like Michael Jackson...

Yes I can

well gotta run..sorry no camera

Tomahawks 26- Milford 8

Finally we play ...Labor day has passed, scrimmages are over and we are set to play Milford ..Clearly the toughest game of our season todate and possibly the whole year. We killed them. The game started close, the referees called some very bad calls against us and we still killed Milford.
We had 9 penalties called against us and Milford had zero
Alex and our red team got in the game late in the fourth qtr and we scored our final TD. Our red team(2nd string) scored against Milfords first string.

We are a really really good, hard hitting, discipline, 5th grade team.
I suspect we should go undefeated all year and meet our arch Rival Team 2 in the championship once again...but I promise you this time the outcome will be different.

Tomahawks 34 Indian Hill 6 WE WON!! AGAIN

This was an amazing victory..Plus it was a Divisional game It really counts.....
Our first string Black Team scored 3 TDs in the first qtr...then in comes our 2nd string Red Team Alex's team...We do a great job on defense and controlling the ball...Alex plays both offense and defense.

On defense he plays corner back first time ever...I was a tad nervous because corner is a tuff position...not only do u have to guard their ends in case of a long pass but you also have to be willing to prevent against run plays...My worries as a grandpa were put to rest when Alex was forced to tackle their QB Alone as he was on a run around the end...Alex came up ...broke down and prepared for an enormous collision...end result The QB was tackled for minimum yds...I went crazy( did I mention I happened to be on the field working the chains) Everyone was amazed at the hit/tackle....even Alex I think...The game continued in that fashion he had about 5 carries as a running back ..totalling about 8-10 yds..I think his last run he fumbled but he claims he was already down..At that point I didn't care because he had played an amazing game as the whole team did...Im sure I will have pics to follow but for right now Im savoring a great victory. Other notable points of interest from some not so common players
1. Stephen scored a TD on a Pass from Vanweelden
2 Dorff scored a TD on a pass
3. Conde grabbed an Interception

Afterwards we all trucked to Willies for the usual celebration festivities

CORNROWS...BRAIDS..Friday Aug 21 2009

First official league game is Sunday...School starts Weds

Alex wanted his hair braided for these events..Why you ask? I think because his dads hair was braided and dreaded for many years and Alex always wanted because of that reason...not too mention a number of Pro ballers have it done...like Randy Moss and my favorite Allen Iverson

The braiding took 2 hrs and Alex said it really hurt..afterwards I treated him to lunch and we got ready for practice...Everyone loved them teammates, parents and even the coaches...

I actually think it made him play little harder ...who knows

pics say it all Enjoy!

Sunday Aug 16 Tomahawks 34 VS Kings 7

This was no contest for us today...we scored effortlessly....Kings was not ready for us.

Alex played most of the game as the 2nd team running back and linebacker.

He had an outstanding cut back run the 2nd play that he was in. The coaches and alot of parents were impressed with his cut back moves...SO WAS I!

He also got very close to scoring the extra points on the last play of the game...

He was very happy on the way home.

Even tho we almost missed the game start because his mom had his shoulder pads and helmet in her car and she was at work ...therefore we had to drive to her work and get his equipment.

Its always a challenge with her!

Paul Brown Game Alex running the ball

Alex's first running play....Great job buddy!
