That's right folks by some strange circumstance of events momma Stephanie has stepped up and agreed to get Alex to his practices....at least for the time being....and today was day 1.She came through like a true champ. By the time I arrived at practice Alex was walking onto the field however momma Steph was no where to be found...that's right she dropped him off and left.
She also arranged for his ride home after practice with Drake who lives close by.
"Stop it.... just stop it...." I know what you are thinking...she probably just had something important to do and sitting and watching Alex practice just wasn't going to cut it...besides she would also have to bring Payton and contain him.
Nevertheless she came through Alex was there ,dressed ,with water and on time.
like the title reads grampa gets a break.....now about practice
The boys were a tad lazy because they had Monday off Alex did OK but nothing eye raising...their laziest cost them because they not only ran 1 mile after practice ended but they also ran wind sprints for about 30 straight minutes into the night time. Alex walked off the field beat it showed in his eyes
all he could say was
"grampa Im riding home with Drake"
"do u think we will practice Friday?"
all I said was
"absolutely Tuesday Weds Thursday and Friday"
cya tommorrow
he climed in Drake's car and I drove off!kind of weird
