This was the last practice before our BIG divional game again Mason. If we win this game we the Divional champs..and seal a Playoff spot. I think our chances are good but i dont wanna jinx it.Now back to practice.
Alex is getting real good at the leg lifts and conditioning. He is also hitting and tackilng pretty good in th drills...as long as he gets to hit/tackle someone his size or smaller...
He still needs to be more aggressive when he's on defense, he needs to look to make the tackle and trust his equipment, but hes not there yet..I can't complain. He has made HUGE HUGE IMPROVEMENTS.
The second string defense today was AWESOME...They were really hitting and tackling very good...especially Alex's buddy Drake(pictured above). Drake was on fire hitting very good.
Practice's have been running a tad longer into the dark of nite...so the boys are not running much at the end.
Since this is another big game coming up ...Im not sure Alex will see any playing time...although I dont really think hes that concerned..He just wants to win..at all cost.
After practice we hit UDF. He had a good nite.
