Business as usual..On the way to practice we called Jason and Alex got to speak with him , afterwards I spoke with Alex in detail about hustling,hitting and tackling.
I think some of it must have gotten through because he did have a couple of good hits. At least more than he has done previously. The light still has not gone off in his mind that hitting is more fun when you are the one initiating it...but hey hes only 9 he's still playing 6 years before I even touch a football.
He's coming along just fine, gaining more confidence, and understanding the power of teamwork.
It also helps when the coaches are telling him the exact same thing that Grandpa is.
Well we have an impromptu scrimmage on Weds against Ross..This was unexpected..so it should be very very interesting..
The boys prefer scrimmaging other teams over playing against each other all the time.
