Its been a minute...lets catch up

First....Alex OMG The Eldest grandson...carrying the torch of his dad Jason...as they say "The fruit doesn't fall far from the tree" well Alex has been suspended from school for the remainder of his 7th grade year HELLO WELCOME TO JR HIGH!
Why you ask? at least I think you ask....Its a combination of things disrupting class, talking, not listening, showing off, for attention no doubt, disrespectful toward teachers which is most alarming to me and the final straw that caused this suspension was damaging school property Throwing Lacrosse balls at the football score board..causing over $1000 in damage..He wasn't alone in this act he along with a friend were caught in the act. they both got punished and suspended but Alex received the worst because of all the other previously mentioned issues...I could go on and on but its really too exhausting.
As bad as it seems he actually dodged a bullet because he could have been expelled for 80 days which would have adversely affected his 8th grade year and high school credits. It helped that his grades are really good and being on the honor roll. Lesson learned I hope. Mom Steph has him on a strict punishment I think and he seems to be very upset with his situation. At the school hearing that we attended to address this issue he rarely looked up, started crying and admitted to all his wrong doings " stating that he will change his behavior"...I will attempt to keep all updated but this is soooooooooooooooooooooo tiring...holla

Ive been working there for the past 2 months (making extra income) on a Seasonal remodel team 10PM -6AM overnights...Its been very enlightening especially since Ive never really worked an hourly job my entire life not to mention learning how to punch a time clock and take breaks and lunch at a specific time or sleeping during the day. Its a whole different mind set but it is somewhat rewarding to make this life adjustment at 59..changes just keep coming...and yes I'm still selling spiritwear to schools...but the economy has hit the schools very hard which forced me go out and secure more normal means of income..

Finally ....summing up...my babygirl is going to the BIG APPLE NEW YORK CITY HOLLA...she has been offeredor selected or whatever its called to do a 2 month internship with the VF company "that's Vanity Fair" so if you don't know now you know....under the VF company umbrella are many many popular brands that you recognize like Nautica, Kipling, Jansport, Eastpak, Northface, just to mention a few. KK will be interning in a number of depts getting well rounded in all but I think mainly in the HR area..she;s pretty siked about it because shes always wanted to go to NEW YORK in hopes to meet Bethany or her new 2012 crush Tim Tebow...like that will ever happen. There's no harm in dreaming. Now back to whats real ,at least she will get to ride a subway, see a Broadway show, visit Time Square ,the 911 memorial ground zero, dodge some Taxi's and finally see how everybody in NY wears black.
With that said I'm really tired of typing and thinking of stuff to say so I'm out till next time.
