Victory ...............at last!

Sorry for the delay....We won our first basketball game Saturday 23- 15, Terri and KK were there supporting Alex ...Payton was also along and unusually well behaved because his buddy Luke was there to runaround with...Mom Steph was a no show....Whats new!
Alex and the whole team played pretty good considering they had been off for a few weeks
Alex had 3 free throw attempts ...missed them all but he had pretty good form
I spent the entire game standing on the opposite side of the court from the team screaming "hands up on defense"...."shoot shoot shoot"....."hit the square""hit the square"
The square is above the basket for you that don't understand...90% of the time if you shoot the ball and hit the square it goes in.."hit the square" hit the square!

Alex's new adorable puppy. It's a she

Payton got a hamster..Alex gets a puppy...

it will be a good responsibility lesson for the both of them.

however I think mom Steph will go crazy

both the "Hammy", the hamster and "Dallas" the puppy will be pooping every 5 minutes

Surprise visit

Today was an in service school day so the rugrats popped over for a day of Lego's, fish watching and indoor basketball.

Alex decided to fix Paytons Lego Christmas set

Payton played McDonald's while watching the aquarium fish and tormenting Ollie/Jr trapped in the room


I'd like to say Alex and Payton played nicely without any fighting

of course I'd be lying

We ate waffles for breakfast and sushi for lunch( Kroger sushi that is)

Basketball to Lacrosse .....well maybe?

Well............... Long time no Blog to....Nothing much going on in the way of Alex and sports...his basketball team is not like his football team...they have not won a game, and some games Alex doesn't even show up to when its his mom's responsibility to get him there...heck he didn't even show up for last weeks team pictures.

Its been a rough Basketball season for him but his Fall Lacrosse season was fairly decent.

He was even chosen to play on a SELECT winter Lacrosse team( which starts in Feb. As Ive said before ,Lacrosse is actually his best sport and the one he has the most potential to carry on into high school....but as fate would have it he told me the other day that his mom said he would not be able to play Lacrosse for the SELECT team (probably because she doesn't want to pay for it) sorry bout your luck Alex ...Grampa's funds are tapped out I'm done paying.

Ending on a positive note....Payton got a hamster...named him "HAMMY"

I told him "that's real original Payton...way to go."

As soon as I see it I will post some pics.
