Signed Alex up for Youth wrestling on Thursday...yep the saga continues.

We walked in and there were 60 sweaty stinky funky scrawny boys running and waming up.
As soon as we entered the place we run into Alex's Tomahawk head football coach with his son and a few of his teammates..Alex jumped right in.

I think its gonna be good for him.. it sure was hot in there...it lasted 1 hr...
Had no camera but pics will be forth coming. Not sure ythey will be pretty
Thats all I know for now.
did I mention it was hot and stinky...why couldnt he simply play basketball

Our invitational game...Everyone played....Alex got to be the official extra point holder. He was very nervous..but he did perfect. After the game he said "grandpa I kept saying to myself Alex you can do it Alex you can do it...and I DID IT!"

He got to call the play on the field. So for that single play Alex was the "acting QB"He told me he said

" Tomahawks DOWN........SET.........HUT"

The ball is then hiked to him he holds it and the kicker kicks it....( for those of you that dont know what goes on)

He did this twice in the game..the first one was perfect...the 2nd one the hiker snapped the ball over his head. new hiker! He also played offensive guard and defensive tackle the whole game.

He was so excited after the game .../we came home and ate canned spaghetti, rootbeer floats and homemade Grandma Terri coffee cake that Alex loves

Alex had a lot of family there

Stephanie and Payton showed up

His other grandma and grandpa showed up

Grandma Terri showed up with coffee cake

KK called from college before and after the game

and I was there of course!

Alex already wants to sign up for next year...we will do this Monday and then Thursday he starts wrestling

Im either nuts or dont have a life! and Ive never been known as nuts you do the math

Oh yea we won the game 28-0 and I forgot to mention the game was taped it will be televised ...dates to be determined!
